The local quilt store that I sometimes teach at comissioned me to make this as a sample for a new fabric line. It looks really hard but in truth it is not. There are no HST's. all the blocks are made from a 9.5 in. square. The design comes from the way it is laid out on the fabric. So all the squares are on the bias.Took me probably two full days to make from start to finish. I think the hardest part was trying to figure out how to lay out the blocks.
